However (15,30,90days), if you want to spend time in Nepal, you must pay ($30 for 15 days, 50 for 30 days). We also want to inform you that you may take up to 2 hours to complete all the procedures. It may vary according to the schedule of the plane and flight that you are coming from.
After that, we will stand at the arrival point with our banner and nameplate and take you to your hotel in the vehicle we have arranged. In this order, you will be welcomed with flowers and Khada (Special Buddhist prayer things). With all that, on the way to the hotel, you will find Nepali traffic jams, which can irritate you, but still, you will explore a little bit of the capital city of Nepal.
Early in the morning, you'll embark on a scenic drive to Besisahar, the gateway to the Annapurna Circuit. The journey takes around 6–7 hours, offering views of lush hills, rivers, and villages.
Continuing by sharing Jeep or private jeep, you'll ascend to Chame, the district headquarters of Manang. The drive follows rugged roads through beautiful forests, waterfalls (with Famous Octopus falls), and quaint settlements, giving you a taste of the trek’s charm. Chame offers stunning views of Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal and also you can explore the Natural Hot spring .
Begin trekking with views of snow-capped peaks like Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal. Pass through forests and villages to reach Pisang.
Pisang is a picturesque village located at an altitude of approximately 3,200 meters (10,498 feet) in the heart of the Annapurna region of Nepal. It is a prominent stop on the Annapurna Circuit Trek, sitting between Chame and Manang. Divided into Lower Pisang and Upper Pisang, the village is surrounded by breathtaking mountain views, traditional architecture, and a tranquil atmosphere that captivates trekkers.
The route from Pisang Village (3,200m) to Manang Village (3,540m) offers two distinct trails: the Lower Trail and the Upper Trail, each with unique features. Along the Upper Trail, trekkers can also visit the Green Lake (Kapuche Lake), a hidden gem known for its serene beauty.
From Pisang, trekkers can choose between two routes to Manang:
Which is shorter and passes through Humde. The Upper Trail, a scenic but more challenging path that traverses Ghyaru and Ngawal, offering incredible views and insights into traditional village life.
The Lower Trail is a more direct and less challenging route, ideal for trekkers who prefer a gentler journey or are focused on conserving energy for higher-altitude segments of the trek.
Passes through the valley floor, closely following the Marsyangdi River. You’ll cross quaint villages like Hongde, which has an airstrip, and Mungji, offering glimpses of local life. Features lush vegetation and agricultural fields with occasional views of the surrounding peaks.
The Upper Trail is the more scenic and adventurous option, offering some of the most stunning views on the Annapurna Circuit.
Ascends steeply from Pisang to the village of Ghyaru (3,670m), where you’re rewarded with jaw-dropping views of the Annapurna range, including Annapurna II, III, IV, and Gangapurna.
The trail continues through Ngawal (3,660m), another charming village with ancient monasteries and traditional Tibetan architecture.
This route is ideal for acclimatization as it involves gaining and losing elevation before reaching Manang.
The Upper Trail, while more challenging, is highly recommended for its sweeping mountain views, cultural richness, and opportunities to visit spots like Green Lake.
The Lower Trail is ideal for trekkers seeking an easier, faster route to Manang or those trekking during inclement weather.
Both routes eventually converge at Manang, a vibrant village that serves as the main hub for acclimatization, exploration, and preparation for higher-altitude trekking.
The acclimatization day at Manang Village is a crucial part of the Annapurna Circuit Trek with Tilicho Lake, allowing trekkers to adjust to the increasing altitude and reduce the risk of altitude sickness.
